This is the weekend, twice a year, when LDS people listen to counsel and instruction from their leaders. General Conference. It is a great opportunity to get faithful insight into current day problems and concerns. I, for one, am very sure at this seemingly unstable time we will hear words of hope and reassurance. Because no matter our political party or economic standing we are each children of God who loves us greatly and would not leave us comfortless in the wilderness.
I love conference. I especially liked Elder Uchdorf(sp?)'s talk on hope. Since I fight despair on occasion it touched me more than any of the others this time.
