This will be the year I buy more presents via the internet than any other. It isn't new territory, shopping on the internet, but this year there are many things that make traditional shopping next to impossible - 'the sickness' is now attacking J., I don't want to take a toddler to the mall, when I do go to the mall I don't find what I want anyway resulting in an angry mom and no presents, it reduces impulse buys, and with the internet you can almost always get free shipping. Those are just a few reasons, post Christmas I may have a pile o' presents that are ill-fitting or not what I thought they were so you'll probably need to remind me what a great idea I thought this was.
I'm roaming around Etsy:
at the spectacledsparrow
at homestudio
Reminding you (and myself) that I'm shopping for others here.
Yesturday I spent time shopping virtual Macy's, they have great sales. Can't show you that stuff though, in case the kids spy the blog.
found these pretty things at Target. Not that I'm looking for myself or anything.
And for anyone who doesn't want to shop or bake but wants to do something- make a virtual gingerbread house.
Happy shopping because no matter how much we all may cry what the true meaning of Christmas is we eventually got to back up Santa. Unless you've found some way to give the old guy the boot without scarring your children for life. Because I'm all over that, with the exception of Hannukah, don't think I could do that and it doesn't even get rid of the gift delimas anyway.
PS- This font size is driving me nuts, way too small for normal eyes. And the links I put in this post are barely distinguishable from the regular font color. I can't tweak this design, it's this pretty page or back to the old. What do you think- put up with it til' Christmas or change now?
I've been net shopping too! Gabbie has been very sick...we're looking at tonsils out this Friday. Ah well, it makes for a quiet season. I loved the decorating the gingerbread house game! She's going to love it to!
