It's that magical time of year, the elementary school concert. That special event where everyone in the audience is solely concerned with their own child. Otherwise you couldn't pay them enough to sit in a hot stuffy gym to listen to rehashed Christmas tunes. That said, A. was GREAT!
We have never seen her open up her mouth and sing like she means it. Tonight we saw that and jazz hands!
It's fun to see her developing into her own person, and enjoying it.
The lighting was bad and I had a bad camera so this is the best group shot I got. But I had to share it because it expresses the universality of this experience. Some kids are smiling ear to ear while there's a little girl in the front row crying, and of course the boys are making wisecracks. Ah, good times.
